final project

wow its been a while.....well we played more interactive games and finally did our final project...I love what we did....our concept of stalking is a really questionable one....we set up motion sensors that connected to a sound track of sketchy noises...Lauren and i had probs with our sensor but we fixed it....it was fun to go exploring the space we choose....its kind of big but we worked with it...it was awsome to find things to add that we didnt have to pay for...the place we picked had some ladders that were fun to climb i was think this morning at breakfast that it would be fun to have a playground on campus...and the ladders fulfilled my dream of a little play time...haha any way tommorow is the last day off class...i am sad that its over i learned alot and i never felt stressed with work like my friends did durring J term i felt challenged but not over whelmed which is a great feeling....i hope to take more classes like this in the next few years...peace...more will be added to the blog wen i find stuff to talk about haha

this weeks exploration

we went over a lot of really weird concepts...well weird to me ne way... i think my favorite of the week would have to be the game of uno and im mad i missed yattzee im soo good at that game...ne way... my eyes were totaly opened to new forms of art i never ever knew about and i can only imaging that my brian will be full of much more by the end of J term and i cant wait... im so excited i took this class....we talk about things that are relitave to i think pretty much everyone in my class... its not about our teacher Joe has to say its really i feel what we interpet him saying and how we react to it that i find really interesting.... dont get me wrong Joe is AWSOME... he has so much to say and its not boring at all..... i am excited to do more projects and to learn about how to use the space and how to interact with it.... YAY

interaction list

so i was sick on friday and i missed class...crap...but my list of interactions will hoepfully be just as good as others was...soo interactions well the basic ones , talking, observing, playing sports, typing on the computer, reading, watching tv, listening to music, boardgames, games, singing, shopping, phone calls, sex, haha thats funny, texting, dancing, travling, sending mail, video game, doing a group project, driving, eating in the lunch room, Partiesss, class, crap why cant i think of any more....mhhhh well i will to this list as the term rolls on...

Choose My own Adventure Book

I had an assignment to read a choose my own adventure book. the name of mine was "house of danger" i was a dective who recived a phone call that cuts out.... i get the adress of the call and then i go up to the house first i solved the case my self which happened to be a counterfitting money case... but by picking a differnt option to call some of my friends and go with them up to the house i was killed off...on my third attempt i waited with my firends for the cheif of police and we caught the crooks again.... it was a really weird and cool thing to have many different endings for the same story. It made me feel like i was reading a bunch of stories..it was really great and i totaly recogmend that people try books like it...

second class

hey so the second day of class went really well...coffee time was spent with a conversation about why we as a generation mostly watch reality tv and why it is better to use facebook instead of email. now i go on facebook about 4 times a day maybe more...it connects us to everything...we dont hav to go searching for what were looking for that information comes to us....haha some one in my class said it was a nicer form of "stalking" true but still facebook and myspace are these new ways of connecting friends, family, co workes ect. any way the type of interactions on those cites is becoming endless.... you can poke people.... play games....have a fake baby with someone...some really weird shit.... but we use facebook and myspace not just as parts of thw web but as a part of a daily ritual i guess..... when i go on facebook and see that my friend has just done something cool and put pix up i want to know more so i with a click of a button can find out... its as easy as that....some might call it lazyness but i think that since i might not be near my friend from say high school this is what keeps us all togather.... it is THE link..... my experience with blogging how ever is new...but i like it...it feels like a diary or something i can just shoot off thought haha well im done for now.... till next class i gues.... : )

first class....!!!!!!

first class today... : ) we went over the whole concept of the class...which if im correct was ... that we are question askers/maker and our job is to create works that will make people question what it means. we will be exploring spaces and maybe ways to fill those spaces... on my class blog there are things that i can check out and the agenda for the first class.. which if i remeber correctly involved goin a dark room exploring the DARK and how we felt in there...fun right yupp... we are also exploring the words INTERACTIVE and SPACES!!!! (will follow up on that later).... ohhh and our first project is to take an Altoids can and make a sort of statement with it... i have a few ideas and i have till monday to do it...so yea got any good ones run em by me!!!\\\///// untill next time i guess!!!
